That was due in large part to Ceva Co urtemanche's commit ment that we provi de a meal that we would be pro ud to serve to our own families. Many o f those who attended last ye a r's event called it the 'best ever'. Once a gain, our goal is to provide a ho me -style meal for 300 to 350 foster youth, their families, and ot her s who support them throughout the year. Before discussing th at part of the program, he remin ded us that we will be hosting the ann ual Foster Famil ies Dinner on Thurs day, December 3rd at Bethel Chur ch in Eureka.

'It's a little scar y!'Д®d C hristian s provided an update from the Transitional Age Youth (TAY) p rogram, which just wrapped up its series of workshops with Humboldt L ive! recently. 'The weeks are ju st flying past,' sh e told us. She said that the time is going by quickly. S ophia wen t to dinner at Bob Johnson's home, which she said was nice. Although the team didn't wi n the championships, they did come in second. She also had her last cross-country ra ce of the season. Sophia said that it was 'really pretty - when we got to the beach, we didn't wa n t to leave '. Sophia Wa ern-Bugge, said that she and some of her fellow Exchange Students recently went to Trinidad for a lunc heon, which was f oll owed by a hike on the beach. (That last title ma y need some editing.) If you would like to nominate someone, let Pre sident Ho ward know. Our next C lub meeting will be on Friday, Dece mber 4th, and it will be Election Day! Three sea ts are open on our Board of Directors, and a President-Elect Design ate E meritus Pro Tem will be selected as well.Howard promised to provide more lead time before our next a dventure.
